Our Approach
We Facilitate Safe Learning Spaces
At UPWC, we believe that learning should be an accessible, inclusive, and above all, safe experience for everyone. We know that a trusting environment is essential for personal and academic development, so we work to create spaces where each individual feels respected, supported, and free to explore their abilities and potential.
Our mission is to promote education in a safe and healthy environment, where the barriers of fear, exclusion, and discrimination are eliminated. This refers not only to physical safety, but also to emotional and psychological safety. Through community projects, workshops, activities, and awareness campaigns, we seek to empower students, teachers, and families to work together to build an educational culture that values diversity and fosters comprehensive well-being.
How do we do it?
Training and Awareness: We offer training programs for educators and community leaders on how to handle situations of harassment, bullying, and violence in the classroom, as well as promoting empathy and peaceful coexistence.
Psychological Support Spaces: We provide resources and professional support for students who need emotional support, creating a support network that supports their comprehensive development.
Prevention and Awareness: We develop awareness campaigns in schools and communities about the importance of creating safe and respectful environments, where each person can learn without fear of being discriminated against or attacked.
Defense of Human Rights: We work for the implementation of public policies and educational practices that guarantee access to quality education, free of violence and discrimination, for all.
